Hot Off the Press: AI Literacy Training Cards, Anthropomorphism, iSpring, and learning never stops
I created this course as part of the iSpring Challenge 2025, and honestly, the timing couldn’t have been better. I had the idea, iSpring provided the software for the contest, and I’ve always wanted to experiment with PowerPoint (shoutout to Tekhnologic!). A total win-win-win!
Since this was my first time using iSpring Suite, I decided to try things I wouldn’t normally attempt. My goal was to keep the design clean but have some fun with colours. Almost all the visuals in the course come from the iSpring library and PowerPoint shapes, with a little creative tweaking. Some things were tricky. Certain transitions and triggers just wouldn’t work after export, so I had to get creative with workarounds. But overall, the process was super interesting, and I ended up learning a ton – not just about iSpring but also about PowerPoint’s hidden powers.
The best part of the contest? Getting video feedback on my course. That was priceless!
Why anthropomorphism?
Because it’s the starting point of AI literacy. If we don’t address the way students perceive AI, we risk overtrust, misinformation, and all sorts of unintended consequences. This is where AI education should begin.
What’s in the Course?
Since this was a contest project, I had to keep it short – 12 to 20 slides max. I threw in some gamification, and yes, there’s an instant certificate when you complete the course! Also, a huge thanks to iSpring for giving participants an extra month of software access as a prize – much appreciated!
Try It Out!
You can try the pilot version here – no registration required. I’d love to hear what you think! I hope you make it to the top of the pyramid.
